1. Be Off

• تعریف: به معنای ترک کردن یا جدا شدن از جایی است.
• مثال:
  • The meeting was boring, so I decided to be off early.
  • She told her boss she was feeling unwell and needed to be off work.

2. Fall Down

• تعریف: به معنای سقوط کردن یا افتادن به زمین است.
• مثال:
  • The old man fell down the stairs and hurt his back.
  • Be careful on the ice; you might fall down.

3. Look Out

• تعریف: به معنای مراقب بودن یا مواظب چیزی یا کسی بودن است.
• مثال:
  • Look out! There’s a car coming.
  • We need to look out for each other in this neighborhood.

4. Keep From

• تعریف: به معنای جلوگیری کردن از انجام چیزی است.
• مثال:
  • She kept from laughing during the serious meeting.
  • He tried to keep from eating too much junk food.

5. Put Back

• تعریف: به معنای برگرداندن چیزی به جای اصلی خود است.
• مثال:
  • Please put back the book after you’ve finished reading it.
  • He put back the groceries in the fridge.

6. Get Over

• تعریف: به معنای غلبه کردن بر مشکل یا بیماری است.
• مثال:
  • It took her months to get over the flu.
  • He finally got over his fear of flying.

7. Be Over

• تعریف: به معنای پایان یافتن چیزی است.
• مثال:
  • The movie was over by 10 PM.
  • She was relieved when the test was over.

8. Get Across

• تعریف: به معنای منتقل کردن یا فهماندن چیزی به کسی است.
• مثال:
  • He struggled to get his point across during the debate.
  • The teacher used a story to get the concept across to the students.

9. Come Across

• تعریف: به معنای برخوردن به چیزی یا کسی به طور تصادفی است.
• مثال:
  • I came across an old friend while shopping yesterday.
  • She came across a rare book in the library.

10. Put Away

• تعریف: به معنای جمع کردن و سر جای خود گذاشتن چیزی است.
• مثال:
  • After dinner, she put away the dishes.
  • He told the kids to put away their toys.

11. Keep Ahead

• تعریف: به معنای جلوتر بودن یا پیشی گرفتن از چیزی یا کسی است.
• مثال:
  • She works hard to keep ahead of her competitors.
  • If you want to succeed, you need to keep ahead of the trends.

12. Fall Through

• تعریف: به معنای ناکام ماندن یا به نتیجه نرسیدن چیزی است.
• مثال:
  • Their plans to open a new store fell through.
  • The deal fell through at the last minute.

13. Keep On

• تعریف: به معنای ادامه دادن به انجام چیزی است.
• مثال:
  • Despite the difficulties, he kept on working.
  • She kept on talking even though no one was listening.

14. Come Between

• تعریف: به معنای ایجاد اختلاف یا مانع شدن بین دو نفر است.
• مثال:
  • Don’t let this argument come between your friendship.
  • Work stress should not come between you and your family.

15. Put Down

• تعریف: به معنای انتقاد کردن از کسی یا چیزی است.
• مثال:
  • She always puts down his ideas.
  • He felt put down by his boss’s comments.

16. Put Out

• تعریف: به معنای خاموش کردن آتش است.
• مثال:
  • The firefighters put out the blaze quickly.
  • Please put out your cigarette before entering the building.

17. Get Round

• تعریف: به معنای متقاعد کردن کسی به انجام کاری است.
• مثال:

18. Put Through

19. Put Forward

20. Put On

21. Get Behind

• مثال:

22. Keep At
